Michelle has been studying and working in the arts for over 20 years. She graduated with a degree in art from Parsons School of Design and has had a love of the history and art of tattooing for many years. After apprenticing and working as a tattoo artist in both New York City and Los Angeles, she has returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh to fulfill her dream of opening her own tattoo shop. Michelle worked as a rare book dealer before tattooing and is very inspired by etchings, engravings, and woodcuts in her tattooing. She loves doing intricate and fine detailed work as well as any tattoo in an illustrative style. The process of working and collaborating with clients to create beautiful and meaningful tattoos is a huge privilege for Michelle. Michelle believes that every tattoo, big or small, is special and deserving of the highest care and execution. She wants her clients to not only leave the shop with an incredible tattoo, but also having had a wonderful experience getting tattooed from start to finish.
